SUMMER CAMPS

Need activities for the kiddos during the summer months? We offer super fun cookie, cupcake and cake decorating camps that will teach the kiddos new skills, unleash their creativity and help build confidence as well! Registration for Summer Camps is now open!
All camps will be held at our adorable Decorating Studio in Magnolia (903 Honea Egypt Rd, Unit C in the Magnolia Woods Office Park)! Each camp is a week-long camp (Monday thru Friday) and you can enroll in the morning cookie camp, the afternoon cake/cupcake camp or the entire day which includes both the cookie and the cake/cupcake camps!
Cookie Camps will be Monday - Friday from 9 am - 12 pm and we will decorate 6 themed cookies daily and are $225 for the week. Campers will learn many different skills during the week, which may include: how to make and color royal icing, outline and flood cookies, use different icing techniques, add texture to their cookies, use edible images and printers, airbrush, stencil and add fondant details to their cookies!
Cake/Cupcake Camps will be Monday - Friday from 1 pm - 4 pm and we will decorate either a 6 inch themed cake or at least 6 cupcakes (cupcake cakes will have more cupcakes) daily and we will do a variety during the week, 3 cakes or 2 sets of cupcakes or 2 cakes and 3 sets of cupcakes each week and are $225 for the week. Campers will learn many different skills during the week, and may include the following: how to make and color buttercream icing, tort and crumb coat a cake, fill a cake, ice a cake, use icing tips for different effects, use fondant details on a cake, cover a cake with fondant, and airbrush and stencil a cake!
Daily camps include both the cookie class and the cake/cupcake class, are Monday - Friday, 9 am - 4 pm, with a break from 12 pm - 1 pm for lunch. Please send a bagged lunch for your child. Daily camps are $400/week ($50 savings)!
Camps are intended to be drop-off, but if you want to stay with your child, you are certainly welcome to do so. We want you and your kiddo to feel comfortable and have fun!
Ages 7 and above are welcome (must be able to follow directions and work independently though the Bakery owner (& a helper this summer) will be walking around and assisting all students). For this reason, class size will be limited so all students receive ample attention. No refunds will be given after May 1st if you are unable to attend as supplies will have already been purchased and registration will have closed so the seat can’t be filled. If Cute as a Button Bakery cancels camp for any reason, a refund (prorated if necessary) for the time missed, will certainly be issued. Below are descriptions of each week’s themes that are planned. Please note these are subject to change at the discretion of the Bakery if we feel another theme would be better suited for the group enrolled.
All materials and supplies will be provided. No prior decorating experience necessary. All Campers will receive a personalized apron on the first day of camp and other gifts during camp (will vary but include things such as scribe tools, bookmarks, bags, hats, etc). Campers enrolled in multiple camps will receive other personalized items in lieu of another apron.
June 1st - June 5th Animals Week (daily themes include On the Farm, Safari, Pets, Woodlands Animals and Feathered Friends)
June 8th - June 12th Let’s Eat Week (daily themes include Pajamas & Pancakes, Summer Treats, Imposters, Cherry on Top, and Tea Party)
June 15th - June 19th Sports Week (daily themes include football, basketball, soccer, baseball/softball, and golf - just in time for gifts for Father’s Day)
June 22nd - June 26th Magical Week (daily themes include Princesses, Unicorns & Rainbows, Mermaid, Dinosaurs, and My Little Pony)
June 29th - July 3rd Florals and the Great Outdoors Week (daily themes include Gardening, Flowers, Succulents, Camping, and Fishing)
July 6th - July 10th Characters Week (daily themes include Super Mario Brothers, Super Heroes, K-Pop Demon Hunters, Harry Potter and Peanuts)
July 13th - July 17th Disney/Pixar Week (themes include Mickey/Minnie Mouse, Disney Desserts, Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh and Pixar’s Cars)
July 20th - July 24th Christmas in July Week (themes include Disney Christmas, Christmas in July, Merry Grinchmas, Snow Day, and Milk and Cookies for Santa)
July 25th - July 31st Let’s Party Week (themes include Slumber Party, Movie Night, Disco Night, Groovy Times and Let’s Rodeo)
Register on the link below - you’ll be directed to the Place an Order page and you will choose the camps you want to enroll in by clicking the pull-down menu and then add the camp to the cart. For multiple camps, you will need to repeat the process. And don’t forget to check out of your cart in the right corner of the page when all camps have been chosen!
